Cranes in North York (2024)
Photographed throughout the Flemingdon Park and Don Mills region of North York, this series delves into the prevalent issues of gentrification and over-development. Since the 2010s, when construction of the Eglinton LRT line first began, the area has seen a surge in condominium development in an area already densely populated with heavy traffic. The continuation of proposed condominium projects within the next few years exacerbates issues regarding the low-income communities as it fosters fears of displacement and a growing sense of neglect from the municipal and provincial government, as issues remain unaddressed.
